Amazing Music - Awesome Control!
What an amazing concept! I can listen to the original soundtrack as is, or I can adjust the relative volumes or mute selected tracks to play over them. Its fun just to listen to the songs with different combinations of tracks - its like Im hearing a completely different tune!
Ahead of its time
We are going to look back at this app and say this was the first of an entire category of play-along apps. What sets this apart is that the end user get to play with the actual musicians on the record, and access all of the charts, mix it to their liking, and even loop sections they like or want to practice. For a student of jazz, this is the new Aebersold. For the music enthusiast, this is the new liner notes. The Stretch Music App is an ingenious product that should have all of us asking ourselves, "Why didnt we think of this until now?"
Simply cool.
Its nice to fool around with tracks and make your own versions of the songs.
